GlassFish Roadmaps

The roadmaps for GlassFish v2.1 and v3 are available online. One of the consequences of Sun Microsystems making their application server an Open Source effort, is that we can see and learn from their release policies.

As you probably heard, there will be a "GlassFish v3 Prelude", planned for October. The final release for GlassFish v3 is targeted at JavaOne 2009, mid-May next year.
An interesting page at the GlassFish wiki describes the roadmap in more detail. It is interesting to see how the product will evolve from Feature Complete, over no P1/P2/P3 bugs into the final test cycle. This is an approach that I would like to take with DaliCMS as well. But it's hard, since specific customer/project requests often interfere with product development.
